Xuzhou International Student Music Festival 2018
On the evening of December 16, the Closing Ceremony of the Sixth International Cultural Festival of China University of Mining and Technology and Xuzhou International Student Music Festival 2018, sponsored by the International College of China University of Mining and Technology, was held in the North Square of Wenchang Campus of China University of Mining and Technology. There were five universities and eight countriesrepresented :Jiangsu Normal University, Xuzhou Medical University, Xuzhou Engineering College, Xuzhou Polytechnic College of Industry, China University of Mining and Technology. Fifteen contestants entered the finals. Sang Shuxun, Dean of International College of China University of Mining and Technology, Li Honghai, Vice Dean, Zhu Chunmei, Vice Dean of International Education College of Xuzhou Medical University, Meng Qingguo, Director of Admission and Student Management Office, and foreign student counselors attended the festival.
After fierce competition, rap groups Bartuah, Daniel and Michelle from China Mining University and Jiangsu Normal University won the gold prize, Kazakhstan international student Jiaqi with a rendition of Rizamyn from Xuzhou Institute of Technology won the silver prize, Russian international student Polina from China University of Mining and Technology won the bronze prize, and Cameroonian international student Maben from Xuzhou Institute of Engineering won the gold prize. Indian international student Suri, Russian international student Anastasiia of China University of Mining and Technology, and Kazakh international student Ulpan of China University of Mining and Technology were awarded the Best Population Award, the Most Characteristic Award, the Most Beautiful Chinese Voice and the Best Stage Performance Award respectively. Zhu Chunmei, Vice Dean of International Education College of Xuzhou Medical University, and Li, Vice Dean of International College of China University of Mining and Technology, respectively. Awards were presented to the winners and they were congratulated.

The International Student Music Festival was full of pizzazz, moving music and intoxicating singing. It presented an audiovisual feast for the audience. The climax of the festival was splendid.
At the beginning, Chade and Jenny brought love to the air with their singing of the song titled Endless Love, with moving singing, the emotions between lovers were vividly expressed. Subsequently, Shan Gu and Shen Yong changed the affectionate atmosphere of the scene, and the magnetic voice of the main singer lit the whole scene as soon as it opened. The cheers on the spot continued. The audience was also amazed by the Just Right, Father and In My Song brought by the latter performers. The original Chinese songs sung by international students were so touching. Rap groups Bartuah, Daniel and Michelle won the gold medal of the festival for their outstanding performance and popularity in singing skills, stage control and other aspects.

With warm applause, the International Student Music Festival ended perfectly. This event was the first International Student Music Festival in Xuzhou, which was conducive to highlighting the youth of international students, promoting friendship between brothers and colleges, further promoting the integration of international students into Xuzhou, enhancing the international cultural atmosphere of Xuzhou, and promoting the construction of Xuzhou as the central city of Huaihai Economic Zone.
